First Roll over

I actually wanted to do this post yesterday. But had to be 100% sure before posting. Yes!!! Chittu has successfully rolled over yesterday – 28-January-2011!! She had been trying hard since last Saturday and finally achieved her target last night. Congratulations on your accomplishment Chittu darling :D *claps*

Coming to my uncertainty – She was in her “trying” mode last afternoon and I was sitting there encouraging her. But after half an hour of struggle she gave up & so I went for my bath. Within 5 minutes mom knocked the door and shouted “Chittu thaane kuprichunduduthu” I was like WoW!! But didn’t believe because at times mom used to help Chittu by patting & pushing her back or holding & pressing her hands. At night, we were playing in the bed when she started trying again. And Lo! She rolled over on the left side all by herself. Again, I wasn’t sure because the mattress is broad and the two sides have gone down slightly with me and mom sleeping on it for few months now. Chittu sleeps in the middle and so that area is firm. This would easily help in the roll over as it is more of an inclined plane.

So, this morning, I put her on the floor and she rolled over with greater ease and so the news is official now!! :D
